Several years ago I had the opportunity to photograph a young synchronized swimmer, who subsequently went to Europe and started a successful modelling career. Lesley is now a skilled photographer in her own right in Los Angeles: @lesleypedraza

People

Stewart Hanna uses new and recycled metals, wire and sheet metal to create his designs. He does not try to copy or recreate his pieces, as he wants each one to be an individual creation. Although Stewart is now legally blind, he worked as a carpenter for many years and is an amateur singer/songwriter. His style as a jewelry designer comes from his mind's eye and from experimenting with tooling and bending metals into interesting wearable shapes. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I hope your eyes are pleased!"

Scenic

The Kingston waterfront was once heavily industrialized, and was served by the now defunct Kingston & Pembroke Railway. The Inner Station in what is now Confederation Park in front of Kingston City Hall, served as the southern terminus of the K&P line. Today none of the tracks remain, and the restored station is maintained as a local tourist information center.
